The aim of the Recreation and Tourism Management program is to nurture professionals who can exhibit appropriate leadership skills and competencies in the management of recreation and tourism programs and services within the twenty first century. The WKU Recreation Administration program was started in 1967 with one full-time and a number of other part-time faculty. This program includes a minor in Enterprise Administration, Dance, Advertising and marketing, or Natural History. Minors that complement this program embrace advertising, administration and leadership, communication and graphic communication.recreation administration
